The left side headaches were getting less frequent until recent weeks when the heat and humidity started. When both rise, my head feels like it’s being tightened in a vice grip. It’s not quite a migraine, but it’s more intense than a tension headache.
If I’m at home or in my car I turn up the air conditioning, then my head pain starts to ebb off and I can get relief with an Advil Migraine tablet or two.
I’m not a doctor so obviously I can’t make a specific diagnosis, but I do know my own body. I find it a bit coincidental that after I get a concussion, now I’m getting headaches at the same time the temps and humidity rise. My head didn’t feel this way with temperatures at or around 70 degrees and lower.
I will see how the summer goes; if the headaches stay the same or worsen when autumn arrives, I may consider going to a doctor. But after all the visits to the doctor for my concussion, I think I’ve exceeded my doctor visit quota for the next few years.
