Today is the first Thanksgiving I’m making a whole bird. First time. Ever. Oy.
In addition to watching this Reynolds Kitchen video on how to make an oven bag roasted turkey, I’ve already rubbed a rabbit’s foot, thrown salt over my shoulder and now I’m reaching for a couple of beers to relax my nerves.
Cooking for others always makes me a bit on edge. Will the food taste good? Will it even be edible? Will it not give them food poisoning??
The turkey’s in the oven, the pies are ready and I’m about to peel potatoes, but if for some reason, you see smoke billowing out of the apartment windows, please call the fire department.
